Check out the first trailer for Edge of Tomorrow (formerly All You Need Is Kill), Tom Cruise’s latest sci-fi blockbuster directed by Doug Liman (Bourne Identity, Mr and Mrs Smith).

Set in a bleak future where mankind is locked in a deadly conflict with aliens, the story focuses on a soldier who finds himself stuck in a time loop during the climactic battle of the war.  Each time he dies he finds himself waking up on the eve of battle.

Armed with this newfound immortality and foreknowledge, he is persuaded to train with a fellow soldier (Emily Blunt) to gradually turn himself into an unstoppable weapon capable of single handily turning the tide of the war.
